The ChimpDAO wallet for iPhone. It reads the card over NFC, shows balances and has the card sign every movement of funds. It runs on Stellar testnet and is not distributed yet.

How a payment works

  1. Enter recipient and amount.
  2. The review screen shows exactly what will be signed: network, exact amount, recipient.
  3. Enter the PIN (cards without a PIN skip this step).
  4. Tap the card.
  5. The app sends the transaction and follows it until it is confirmed.

Network fees are paid by ChimpDAO. The app holds no private key and no secret: the card signs, the phone never does.

Tests

The app has 502 automated tests. Several use vectors taken from the reference implementation (contracts and terminal), so the app builds exactly the same authorisation bytes and digests.

In progress

The TestFlight build is prepared but not sent yet. The app is not on the App Store.
