Evidence on the current contract deployment: card #7, a physical card with a PIN, was registered and linked to its new Main account from the iPhone on 2026-09-29, and its chip signed payments on 2026-09-30. Its transactions are listed on the Testnet deployment page.
ChimpDAO's reference payment terminal also ran both card types on real hardware, on an earlier contract deployment. On the current deployment, the terminal's own evidence uses a software chip.
Practical findings
- The card must stay still during the whole operation.
